Custom Kitting

As a partner with many of the industry’s leading educational suppliers, we have established ourself as a custom kit builder that does not limit our customers to stock or catalog items. Our ability to manufacture, package, private label and provide fulfillment services has allowed us to meet all of our customer’s goals. No minimum quantities are required. We have experience in building kits in quantities ranging from 1 to over 100,000.

Our staff will collaborate with you to design a custom kit that fits all your product requirements. Our in-house chemists, biologists, engineers, and experienced educators can help you in selecting the right products for your unique curriculum. Not only will we help design and build your kit, we will conduct hands-on tests to ensure your kits perform as expected.

Quality Control:

At AquaPhoenix, our entire team is committed to providing you with the highest level of quality and service. We’ve designed our kitting lines to incorporate one-piece flow with built-in quality checks throughout the kitting process. It is common practice to perform in-house experiments on materials before they are distributed. We want to be sure you are receiving quality products and that the experiment works as intended when paired with your curriculum.

Wherever practical we use clear packaging to make visual quality inspections easier. We also utilize 3rd party testing on items we source to adhere to the requirements of CPSIA. Additionally, all hazardous items shipped from our facility are packaged by certified HAZMAT experts and MSDS’s are available.

 

Custom Packaging

Our ability to provide custom packaging will give you peace of mind by ensuring your products are delivered to your customers in a safe, neat and organized manner. We offer the flexibility to package kit contents in a variety of methods. Whether you require shrink wrapping individual components or creating sub-groups of materials within the kit for easy handling, we will package items in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible. We will also work with you to design the overall packaging of your kit to maintain a professional look that is sensitive to your bottom line.

All of our liquid chemicals are individually bagged and the hazardous chemicals are either induction sealed, taped or shrink wrapped to prevent leaks and spills. These items are handled by our in-house, certified experts to confirm packages are shipped according to HM-126F, Dangerous Goods Regulations.

Private Labeling:

To further customize your products we offer private labeling on kits and components. There are several sizes and styles of labels that can be applied to your products with your company name, logo and contact information. We will work with you in choosing the proper label depending on the product and your specific needs. Private labeling is available on most products and kits.

 

Product Sourcing

International:

By sourcing products internationally we are able to import container load quantities at competitive prices. Deliveries are made to our Hanover, Pennsylvania facility on a regular basis where we inspect and manage inventory. In order to maintain close relationships with our international suppliers several trips are made each year to check production and shipping schedules. Our visits also give us the opportunity for on-site inspection of product to make sure quality standards are being met.

Domestic:

Where our international suppliers allow for bulk quantities, our domestic suppliers offer us the flexibility to procure small quantities more quickly. Relationships with multiple suppliers also increase our ability to source products for quick order processing.

Manufacturing:

Our in-house manufacturing and fabrication capabilities provide additional flexibility to our customers. We manufacture a wide range of chemicals and test kits for the educational market and can fabricate custom components based on your requirements.

 

Warehousing & Fulfillment

Many of our current customers look to us to provide fulfillment services for their day-to-day order processing. With our modern, climate-controlled facility, we have the capacity and expertise to excel in this role. We are passionate about our inventory control process and quick order turnaround times. We continually advance our systems technology to improve both efficiency and reliability – resulting in accurate, timely delivery.

With 97,000 ft2 of available space we are able to stock kits and fulfill orders when delivery is required. All hazardous materials are handled by in-house experts and shipped according to HM-126F, Dangerous Goods Regulations. We work closely with UPS, Fed Ex, the US Postal Service and several nationwide trucking services to drop ship products to over 60 countries.
