On Wednesday, January 30th 2013, Students in the Rocket Science Club from Spring Grove Area High School had the opportunity to tour the facility here at AquaPhoenix Scientific. AquaPhoenix has made a generous contribution to the club, helping to send the students to Huntsville, Alabama as part of the NASA Student Launch Initiative. Students are building a rocket to NASA’s specifications that will fly a mile high! Spring Grove is one of only 27 high schools selected nationwide and the only school in Pennsylvania to attend this year.
In addition to sponsoring the students, AquaPhoenix is also providing all the materials for the student’s rocketry workshops, which are being held as part of a NASA requirement for the competition.
