On Monday, March 9th, ten AquaPhoenix employees spent the day in training with the American Red Cross. These ten employees are now part of our first responder team and are certified in First Aid, CPR/AED and Bloodborne Pathogens.
With this new training, these employees are equipped to handle common first aid emergencies including burns; cuts; head, neck and back injuries and more. First responders are also trained in cardiac and breathing emergencies including the use of automated external defibrillators (AED).
American Red Cross courses align with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs and OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.
