AquaPhoenix Supports the Relay for Life

AquaPhoenix was well represented at the Hanover Relay for Life held on July 10-11, 2015.  In our 5th year participating in the event, there were 29 employees and 21 family/friends who took turns walking around the track in support of our loved ones battling cancer, honoring those in remission and remembering those who have passed.  This year our team raised over $10,000 through various fundraisers and local sponsorships. Overall, the event raised $203,850.  More than 50 teams comprised of local businesses and family groups participated in the event, which was held during a 24-hour period Friday and Saturday. collage

Riding for Charity

A big shout-out to AquaPhoenix employee, Brandon Taylor, for biking 141 miles over 2 days to help raise money and awareness for the National MS Society.

Brandon partnered up with the Thermo Fisher Scientific team as they participated in the 30th Anniversary of Bike MS: Escape to the Lake. The event had over 1,200 participants and despite the soggy weather, the team had a great time biking and taking in scenic western Pennsylvania.

Brandon and AquaPhoenix were able to raise $1,540, the Thermo Fisher team raised $18,256 and the event overall raised $642,000!
