On Wednesday, April 18th, second-grade students from a local elementary school engaged in four educational activities while at AquaPhoenix Scientific. Students participated in four hands-on activities learning about magnetism, what plants need to grow, how educational kits are assembled, and how to measure using metric units. While they visited, they each made a grow-a-seed necklace and kitted a bag of objects to bring home to remind them to share their experiences. Students also toured the facility to learn about how science, technology, mathematics, reading, and writing are used in our jobs.

Continuous improvement has long been part of the AquaPhoenix culture. We recently had the opportunity to host local business owners going through their own Lean journey. The Lean peer group gives company leaders the opportunity to revamp and reenergize their Lean strategy by networking with and learning from others who are committed to creating a Lean culture. A group of 20 gathered at AquaPhoenix to learn from our experiences and tour our state-of-art facility.

As always, we showcased some of the best testing products in the industry from all the top brands. Meters, test kits and other testing equipment were all on display. Featured items included EndPoint ID test kits, colorimeters, lab supplies and equipment, Pelican Air custom test cases.
AquaPhoenix Scientific, Inc. today announced the launch of their first mobile app available on iOS and Android. Aliquot™ is a mobile testing application designed for water technicians to simplify their daily testing. Aliquot allows technicians to visually plan routes, set-up and run tests, create custom reports, access other great AquaPhoenix resources, and order testing supplies. Managers have the ability to manage their entire team from one console. A dynamic map shows customer, facility, and prospect locations with color-coded geo pin.
“This is just another service we now provide that will make our customers’ lives easier.” said Frank Lecrone, III, President of AquaPhoenix. “We’re excited to be able to offer a tech solution that fills a need for real-time field testing. Aliquot is slick and can replace outdated notebooks and spreadsheets…our customers don’t bang rocks together to make fire anymore!”
Aliquot users can configure the app for custom testing requirements and customer reporting. Contacts, photos, notes and other pertinent information can be stored on the app and accessed via web console.
The launch comes after a very successful beta test and additional development time to increase functionality and include all feedback. The recent acquisition of H2trOnics also allows for seamless integration of the app data with eServiceReport. More information on the integration to come.

AquaPhoenix is proud to be participating in the American Cancer Society’s signature event, Relay for Life, again this year. Relay for Life raises money to fight cancer and to raise awareness of cancer in the community. It is a community-developed event run by volunteers and coached by ACS staff. It honors cancer survivors and remembers those who have lost their lives to cancer.

HANOVER, PA – May 25, 2017 – AquaPhoenix is excited to announce it has acquired H2trOnics, a water treatment equipment and software company based out of Grand Prairie, Texas. The H2trOnics product line includes pumps, tanks, sensors and controllers, as well as the design and build of custom panel and skid based feed systems. Additionally, their eServiceReport is a cloud-based reporting Software as a Service (Saas) that allows water treaters to save both wet test and controller data, generate graphs and upload documents.

On April 6th, AquaPhoenix Scientific hosted an Open House to commemorate the new headquarters. The new and larger office located at 860 Gitts Run Road in Hanover boasts a two-story office space and a modern, climate-controlled warehouse.
Open house guests joined us for facility tours, a ribbon cutting ceremony, and cake cutting. The cake was one of the highlights from the night. Thanks to the team at Charm City Cakes for turning our kits into confection.

AquaPhoenix Scientific has once again expanded its business operations, this time moving into a newly renovated facility on 860 Gitts Run Road, Hanover, PA. The new building is just down the street from our previous location and boasts a new, two-story office space and renovated modern, climate-controlled warehouse for increased manufacturing capabilities.
Continuous improvement has always been at the core of AquaPhoenix. In the summer of 2016 we began transferring select areas of the business to the new facility, allowing for minimal service interruption. By December, the entire manufacturing operation and front office personnel moved to complete the transition. The new building sits on 21 acres and features over 200,000 square feet. This upgrade allows for continued growth, increased manufacturing and inventory capabilities and ever-expanding service to our customers.
